The agreement encompasses comprehensive technical support, leveraging GreenEDGE Cycling’s extensive global expertise and capabilities, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Friday, June 13, 2025. This partnership marks a pivotal moment in the growth of cycling in the Kingdom, aiming to hone athletes’ skills and abilities to achieve professional technical standards and secure notable achievements on the international stage.

Abdulaziz Al-Shahrani, President of the SACF, emphasized that this partnership with GreenEDGE Cycling underscores the federation’s commitment to strengthening international collaborations and expanding growth opportunities for the sport. He hailed it as a landmark in transforming cycling in Saudi Arabia into a fiercely competitive and sustainable sport with a formidable technical presence globally. Al-Shahrani also extended his gratitude for the unwavering support provided to the sports sector by the Saudi leadership and the dedicated oversight of Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, who also serves as the president of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee. This support is crucial in advancing Saudi clubs and national teams across all sports.

GreenEDGE Cycling, with its impressive roster of over 180 competitors across four distinct teams – including men’s and women’s UCI WorldTour Teams and men’s and women’s UCI Continental teams – brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Saudi federation.
