RIYADH — ASICS, a global leader in athletic footwear and apparel, has partnered with the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) to introduce the ASICS Innovation Pitch 2025 — a national startup competition designed to boost digital innovation in health and fitness throughout the Kingdom.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives to promote a healthier and more active society.
The program encourages Saudi-based startups to present digital-first concepts that motivate movement and enhance well-being.
To qualify, startups must be at least two years old, primarily registered or based in Saudi Arabia, and have a product or service that is either market-ready or close to launch.
Finalists will benefit from mentorship and the chance to collaborate with ASICS’s global innovation, R&D, and marketing teams. Travel and accommodation will be covered for up to two team members per startup.
The top three finalists will also be considered for future partnership opportunities with ASICS, including investment possibilities through ASICS Ventures, the company’s innovation-driven investment arm.
This initiative represents ASICS’s inaugural open innovation program in the Kingdom, highlighting the brand’s expanding presence following the opening of its first Riyadh store in 2023.
The SFA, under the leadership of Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed, is focused on utilizing partnerships and technology to cultivate a nationwide culture of physical activity.
Startups can apply through the official ASICS Innovation Pitch website ahead of the July 31 deadline. — SG
