Jorge Jesus appointed as head coach of Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia on a one-year contract.

RIYADH — Al Nassr officially announced on Monday the hiring of Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus as head coach for the first football team on a one-year agreement.

The club shared the news through a statement on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating: “Jorge Jesus is the new head coach of Al Nassr’s first team on a one-year deal. We wish him and his team the best of luck with Al Nassr, God willing.”

Jesus, a well-known figure in global football management, brings a wealth of experience from top-tier European and regional clubs.

He has previously managed Portuguese powerhouses Benfica and Sporting Lisbon, along with Turkish club Fenerbahçe.

Additionally, he had a brief yet successful tenure with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, where he secured domestic championships.

The seasoned coach is set to join Al Nassr’s pre-season training shortly as the team prepares for the 2025-26 season, aiming to add titles both locally and on the continental front.
