Italian Super Cup Makes Its Return to Riyadh in December Featuring Four-Team Battle

RIYADH — The Italian Super Cup is set to return to Riyadh this winter, with the Saudi capital hosting the prestigious tournament for its 2025 edition from December 18 to 22. This marks the sixth time that the Kingdom has welcomed this high-profile football event.

Featured in the tournament are Serie A champions Napoli, Coppa Italia winners Bologna, league runners-up Inter Milan, and Coppa Italia runners-up AC Milan. The competition promises to showcase elite football talent in a vibrant atmosphere.

According to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport, tickets for this exciting event will go on sale in the coming weeks, contributing to the Kingdom’s growing reputation as a host for international sports.

The semifinals are slated for December 18 and 19, with the final scheduled for December 22 at a yet-to-be-announced venue in Riyadh. The anticipation is building among fans, with an expected attendance of over 30,000 spectators based on previous events.

Saudi Arabia first hosted the Italian Super Cup in Jeddah in 2018, where Juventus triumphed over AC Milan. The competition moved to Riyadh the following year, with Lazio overcoming Juventus in a thrilling final. Inter Milan enjoyed back-to-back successes in 2022 and 2024, defeating AC Milan and Napoli respectively. Notably, AC Milan claimed the title in the most recent edition this past January.
