Future and the Fast Lane: Jeddah Corniche Prepares for Formula E Cultural Festival

JEDDAH — Beyond the high-voltage competition on the track, the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix is set to transform the Red Sea waterfront into a primary cultural destination this weekend, headlined by global hip-hop icon Future on Friday night.

The event integrates elite motorsport with large-scale entertainment. Future will anchor the Friday night concert series following the Round 4 podium ceremony, bringing his signature sound to the Jeddah waterfront. The musical lineup is part of a broader “Fan Festival” that includes Algerian legend Cheb Khaled on Friday afternoon, and Egyptian stars Ahmed Saad and Tamer Ashour scheduled for Saturday.

The 2026 edition also sees the return of the EVO Sessions on Sunday, February 15. This grassroots development program allows world-class content creators and next-generation drivers to test the GEN3 Evo machinery on the official race circuit. Data from the Ministry of Sport indicates that such initiatives have contributed to a significant increase in local interest in sustainable engineering and electric mobility among Saudi youth.

Strategically, the Jeddah E-Prix serves as a pillar of the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI). By hosting the world’s only net-zero carbon sport, Jeddah highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to sustainable urban development. The Allianz Fan Village will feature interactive exhibits, a “Gaming Arena” with virtual circuit simulators, and local food courts. As the city prepares for a weekend that defines the “future of speed,” the Jeddah E-Prix remains a benchmark for how Saudi Arabia blends international sporting standards with global cultural programming.
