That mental sharpness led to a historic breakthrough: a bronze medal at the U23 European Championships. Standing on that international podium was a turning point, but for Ruba, the real victory lay in the influence she could exert off the piste.
“Being appointed as Saudi Arabia’s first female FISU Student-Sports Ambassador gave me a platform to inspire other young women who dream of competing at the highest level.”
