RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Cristiano Ronaldo has cemented another historic record in Saudi football, officially becoming Al Nassr’s all-time leading goalscorer in the Saudi Pro League era.
The Portuguese icon netted his 104th league goal for the club in the 50th minute of Friday’s 2–1 comeback win against Al Taawoun, surpassing the previous record of 103 goals held by former Saudi international Mohammed Al-Sahlawi.
Ronaldo reached the 104-goal milestone in 110 league appearances since arriving in Riyadh in January 2023.
The strike also elevates his career total to 978 official goals, leaving the 41-year-old forward just 22 strikes away from the elusive 1,000-goal mark.
The comeback victory preserved Al Nassr’s flawless start to the 2026–27 campaign under manager Ange Postecoglou, leaving the Riyadh club atop the standings with a maximum 12 points from four matches.
The milestone sets the stage for a critical early-season test on Saturday when Al Nassr travel to face Al Ittihad in the Saudi Clásico.
