KHOBAR — In a strategic move aimed at bolstering their midfield, Roshn Saudi League side Al Qadsiah has officially secured the permanent signing of 22-year-old Saudi international midfielder Musab Al Juwayr from Al Hilal. The promising young talent has been handed a lucrative five-year contract, further emphasizing Al Qadsiah’s ambition in the league.

Al Juwayr, who developed through Al Hilal’s youth academy, made a significant impact during his loan spell at Al Shabab over the past two seasons. His stellar performances in the recently concluded 2024-25 season led him to be awarded the Roshn Saudi League Young Player of the Month each month, alongside a remarkable record of 15 goal involvements across 31 matches.

His outstanding run culminated in him winning the inaugural RSL Young Player of the Season award, a testament to his exceptional abilities on the field.

On the international front, Al Juwayr has already made his mark for the Saudi national team, earning 19 caps and finding the net six times since his debut in January 2023.

Al Qadsiah’s acquisition of Al Juwayr adds to their ambitious summer recruitment strategy, which includes new signings like Italian striker Mateo Retegui from Atalanta, veteran forward Abdullah Al Salem from Al Khaleej, and experienced left-back Yasser Al Shahrani from Al Hilal.

As they gear up for the upcoming domestic season, Al Qadsiah will face Al Nassr in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final in Hong Kong before turning their focus to the highly anticipated 2025-26 RSL campaign. The club aims to build on last season’s impressive fourth-place finish, seeking to enhance their standing in the league.
