Defending Asian Champions League Elite winners Al-Ahli kick off their campaign full of confidence.
Their first match is set in Jeddah against Uzbekistan’s Nasaf.
Head coach Matthias Jaissle, who has been in charge since 2023, recently extended his contract for two more years.
Other Saudi giants in the tournament include Al-Ittihad (last season’s domestic champions) and Al-Hilal (four-time Asian champions).
The group stage runs from September to February, with knockout rounds beginning in March.
