The Smart Cage Returns: PFL MENA Launches 2026 Regular Season Tournament

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The Professional Fighters League (PFL), in continuous partnership with SRJ Sports Investments, launches its highly anticipated 2026 PFL MENA regular season today, May 24, 2026.
Dubbed “Pride of Arabia,” the season opener takes place live from the Coca-Cola Arena, marking the league’s first expansion showcase outside of Saudi territory to highlight regional dominance.

Established as a structural pillar for combat sports in the Middle East, PFL MENA brings its revolutionary merit-based, sport-season format to its sophomore year. Unlike traditional, subjective matchmaking promotions, the league operates with a true tournament bracket comprising a Regular Season, Playoffs, and Championship night.
In 2026, elite fighters from 11 nations—including massive stables of Saudi athletes—will compete across revamped weight brackets for a $100,000 championship purse and a guaranteed pathway onto the global PFL multi-million dollar roster.

For the Saudi Arabian combat sports landscape, PFL MENA’s 2026 expansion acts as a massive competitive crucible. Following tonight’s historic opener, the league moves squarely back to Saudi soil on June 19, 2026, for PFL MENA 10 at the King Abdullah Sports City Indoor Arena in Jeddah.
That card is set to host the professional debuts and returns of trailblazing Saudi icons like undefeated phenom Hattan Alsaif and rising bantamweight contender Malik Basahel.
