RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Bader AlReziza has been officially elected president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) for the 2026–2030 term, following proceedings conducted during the federation’s Extraordinary General Assembly held in Riyadh.
AlReziza was confirmed by acclamation after his candidate list emerged as the sole qualifying submission to meet all regulatory and statutory electoral requirements set by the SAFF Board of Directors Election Committee. The procedure followed the conclusion of the appeals and grievance timeline, which led to the cancellation of a formal ballot vote and the direct endorsement of the final list.
With this appointment, AlReziza succeeds Yasser Al-Misehal, who served as SAFF president from 2019 to 2026. AlReziza previously served as the chairman of Al-Qadsiah Club.
The endorsed leadership slate confirms Loay Mashabi as vice president of the Board of Directors. The seven appointed board members serving for the four-year cycle are Lamia Bahaian, Fahad Al-Mansour, Salman Al-Sudairi, Thamer Al-Sadoun, Omar Al-Jeraisy, Nicholas Coward, and Gerrard Roddy.
The incoming administration assumes oversight across Saudi Arabia’s domestic football pyramid—encompassing leagues, refereeing bodies, and grassroots governance—as well as the management of the senior and youth national teams. The federation’s governance mandate runs through 2030, covering preparations for regional competitions, continental tournaments under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and long-term infrastructure programs connected to FIFA events.
